Introduction to Fascia Yoga

This is a live and online class designed to help you experience how working with fascia, in coordination with conscious core breathing, can change the way you move, feel, and relate to your body.

This is not a passive stretch class or a workout focused on pushing harder. Fascia yoga can be subtle at times and demanding at others because it works with tissue that adapts slowly and responds best to intentional load, precise movement, and breath awareness.

In this introductory class, you'll
  • Learn what fascia is and why it plays a central role in mobility, strength, and resilience

  • Understand why stretching or strengthening alone often doesn't lead to lasting change

  • Experience fascia-focused yoga practices that combine movement with core breathing awareness

  • Explore how breath influences tension, load, and responsiveness in the body

  • Begin to notice how effort, pacing, and breath work together create sustainable ease
