Tensegrity of the Core Line

There is a place in the body that doesn’t need to brace—
but that doesn’t mean it is without tone.
In Fascia Yoga, we explore the balance
between allowing and engaging.
Not collapse, and not control—
but something more intelligent than both.
The deep core line is not something we force on.
It’s something we begin to feel
through alignment, attention, and breath.
As the body organizes,
we may notice areas that have been overworking…
and others that have been waiting to participate.
This is where tensegrity emerges.
A relationship of forces—
where nothing is gripping,
but everything is connected.
Strength without strain.
Stability without holding.
The breath becomes the guide.
Each inhale creating space,
each exhale offering a gentle gathering
toward the center.
Not pulling in—
but drawing into relationship.
Effort may arise.
Let it be purposeful.
Let it come from alignment, not force.
And at the same time,
allow what no longer needs to work so hard
to soften.
This is how the body reorganizes.
Through connection.
Through listening.
Through a balance of tone and release.
In this practice, we’re not choosing between strength and ease—
we’re learning how they exist together.
This is the work we explore in Fascia Yoga.
